We’re thrilled to announce Wauchope Girl Guides as the winner of our recent iPad competition. Congratulations to all involved! Rather than an iPad, we’re sending Kelly and the team a $500 “Plant a Tree” Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card so they can purchase a projector and safety equipment for the girls’ outdoor adventures.  The card will also help them protect the environment by planting a tree on their behalf – what a perfect fit for their “GROW” theme!

The runner up was Greenhills Preschool who have received a credit voucher to use for their next Living Fundraisers drive. We love the thought that has gone into their fundraising plans!

Wauchope Girl Guides ordered our Old MacDonald’s Farm Grass Hair Kits, Flower Growing Kits, Veggie Growing Kits, Herb Growing Kits, Greeting Cards and Soy Candles for their stall.  They also have two more fundraisers booked with more Growing Kits for Spring and Seed-embedded Christmas Cards and Christmas Grass Hair Kits for later in the year. Greenhills Preschool have two fundraisers booked with us this year.  They have gone with our Greeting Cards and Herb Growing Kits. Both organisations will receive bonus profits for booking multiple drives this year, on top of their prizes!

Below are the winning entries.  We hope that their ideas inspire you!

Winner:
“Wauchope Girl Guides run a stall at the local show every year. We normally have our guide biscuits but since it is an earlier one, our delivery won’t be here in time so we decided to incorporate Living Fundraisers into our theme. We have gone with “GROW” since the aim is to grow guiding this year. Living Fundraisers was the perfect addition for this theme. We took photos of the girl guides’ heads, cut them out and stuck them on a petal cut out template for the girls to colour in. These were arranged on the back drop like a garden. We also grew the sample pack items we were selling to have on our table to show them how they will look once planted. We shared our fundraiser on our family guiding page and our local community page on Facebook, as well as notes to our families to share the news. We created little cards to go with every purchase to thank the purchaser for supporting Girl Guides.”

Runner up:
“At Greenhills Preschool we are fundraising for a new sensory garden for the kinder and new wooden building blocks for our kids to build new structures and have many new exciting adventures.  The Living Fundraisers are a perfect way for us to promote and encourage our kinder families to become involved in a more earth friendly way.  We appreciate opportunities like this as they are a great way to celebrate the kinder and the environment.  Thank you to Rae and everyone at Living Fundraisers!”
