Tapping Primary School has gone down in our history books as running the most successful order form fundraiser ever.  We’re talking over 800 card sets ordered, earning them profits in the thousands… what an amazing effort!

Whilst take-home drives are proven to generally be more successful when it comes to high profits, this school has showed us that order form drives can be just as successful… as long as you’re prepared to put in the effort and stick to a few ground rules.

Kelly went in with a plan.  She made sure each of the school’s 200 families received a Greeting Cards order form and Seed-embedded Christmas Cards order form along with a letter explaining the products and why they’d been selected and asked them to sell at least 12 sets each.  It seems setting a benchmark really helped drive sales as most people returned orders and payments of approx. $100.

The fundraiser was advertised via the school’s Facebook page and email. Kelly posted pictures of the products, along with product details and encouraged parents to share the information with their friends and family.

Kelly said she didn’t treat it as an optional fundraiser and kept following up the people that didn’t order.  “I gave them clear instructions and having a target really helped; some people even asked for more time so that they could reach the target which was great” she said.

Tapping Primary are currently running their second drive with us and we can’t wait to see the results!
