Edwina got in touch at the start of Term 1 to request an info kit and a sample of the cards. She’d had great results with a Living Fundraisers drive previously at her daughters’ preschool and knew the products were of great quality.
“Living Fundraisers are a stress free fundraising solution with quality products. I managed to run the fundraiser solo it’s that easy! The staff are also very helpful, friendly and efficient” she said.
Edwina sent a letter and order form home to parents to notify them of the drive then promoted it at assembly and via Facebook. She also sent reminder messages out on the school app and set up a display table for a week at school pick up. Whilst this worked really well, if she had her time over she would have also advertised prior to sending the order forms out to get families excited earlier.
Incentives worked well for Edwina too. She offered a prize to the student who sold the most boxes of cards. This encouraged some big sellers but to gain even more participation, she wishes she had have used the incentive to simply get people to return their forms and add them to a draw.
Edwina highly recommends the use of incentives to anyone embarking on an Order Form Drive. She also suggests advertising in the school letter with good lead up time so that people know that the fundraiser is happening and making sure you choose your time wisely, i.e. when school photos aren’t happening. Whilst Edwina thinks this may have reduced participation slightly, we think she has done an amazing job and should be very proud!
